Some visitors are looking at the funeral scultpure of the mausoleum of Dr Sun Yat Sen in Nanjing. The statue was realized by the french sculptor Paul Landowski. Sun Yat-Sen was founder of the guomindang, still considered as the "father of the chinese nation". He was the first president of the first republic of china in 1912 after the revolution of 1911. But he soon dismissed under pressure of war lords and let the general Yuan Shikai becoming president three months after.
