Qingming festival in China

4 April 2012 -Beijing, China- A banknote from the "the Bank of Heaven" figuring the Jade Emperor, ruler of the heaven, uncompletly burned during the Qingming festival (Bright light). During this religious tradition many chinese honor their deceased relatives by tidying up their tombs and making offerings of replicas of banknotes and objects of the everyday life to ensure them a good life in the other world.
